J.R. Rain Releases Vampire Blues
September 9, 2011
Howdy folks! J.R. Rain here to announce the publication of my latest book, Vampire Blues: Four Stories (Samantha Moon Case Files #1). I do think you will have a lot of fun with this new collection, which features a 35-page Samantha Moon short story, and two other original short stories (plus, a fun bonus story). The Samantha Moon Case Files will begin a new series of shorter cases, to be written in-between the longer novels. Vampire Blues is currently available at Kindle and Nook. It will be available at Sony, Kobo, Apple and Diesel in about two weeks. Click below for some handy links: Vampire Blues: Kindle Vampires Blues: Nook IN OTHER NEWS:
The signing event in Seattle was a great success! By my estimate, we had 40-50 people there, where Gemma Halliday, H.P. Mallory, H.T. Night and myself signed postcards of our book covers and answered questions about ebook publishing. A lot of fun--even up to the blackout, which forced the signing outside! I just released two new omnibuses--so if you haven’t tried my Aladdin series with Piers Anthony or my Spinoza series of supernatural novellas, here’s your chance. A new interview with me is here: epublishabook.com H.T. Night and I have agreed to co-author a supernatural series featuring an immortal writer who makes a deal with the Devil. H.P. Mallory and I will soon begin work on our big supernatural romance/mystery series, to be released in 2012.
CURRENTLY WORKING ON: Bad Blood (Night School #1) with Scott Nicholson and H.T. Night. This is the first in a “light” vampire series, featuring novella-length thrillers. The three of us are having fun with this one. This should be out in about 10 days. I’m hard at work on Hail Mary (Jim Knighthorse #3), to be released at the end of October. After Hail Mary, I will jump right into Vampire Dawn (Vampire for Hire #5), to be published on Christmas Eve, 2011. Daughters of Eve with Scott Nicholson. We’re about 200 pages into this one. This is a grand adventure in the the tradition of Indiana Jones (and along the lines of my The Lost Ark). With luck, this will be done by the end of the year. These should be my last four books of 2012. Whew--busy year!
Of course, I’ve got a full slate scheduled for 2012, including sequels to Elvis, Spinoza and the next book in The Grail Quest Trilogy, Merlin. Not to mention more books with Samantha Moon and Jim Knighthorse, and many more with Scott Nicholson, H.P. Mallory, H.T. Night and Piers Anthony! Have a great weekend, everyone!
